FIRST - "For Inspartion and Recognition of Science and Technology"

FIRST is a global non-profit organization that inspires youth and teens to persuade in science and technology by hosting robotics competitions. There are three different program levels. The first one is FLL, and then FTC and FRC - each program is adjudged to the age level.

FIRST is built on one value "Gracious Professionalism" which means competing for the sake of helping and improving competitors and not destroying them.
In conclusion we all encourage you and your friends to join local FIRST teams because not only it helps you persue a career in the sciences it also helps you bond with other kids in the program with similar interests.
